Wide enough for two, not just long enough.
Most tubs sold as two-person are simply long — you sit at opposite ends with your knees overlapping and call it romantic. NOCTARA is wide. It measures 39.4 inches across the middle, where a typical 67-inch tub is 29 to 33. That extra ten inches is the difference between two people sharing a bath and two people enduring one.
Inside, the basin runs 65.4 inches at the rim, with bathing depth to overflow listed at 15.64 in: over the shoulders of one person lying back, or chest-deep for two sitting up.
The drain sits dead center, 33.5 inches from either end, so the tub is symmetrical and reversible in the room. Useful when you're placing something this wide and the faucet has to work from either side.
Underfoot it's solid. Molded from stone resin as a single piece, sitting on a base 37.8 inches across, with no flex when you step in. The matte finish has a smooth, stone-like feel.
One thing to plan for: at nearly 40 inches across, this tub needs real clearance on both long sides, and it will not fit through a standard interior door. Check both before anything else.
