Why the arch works

A curved top over straight cabinet lines is the contrast that makes both read as intentional. Standard American bathroom ceilings are eight feet, and this is one of the few things you can do to change how tall the room feels without touching the structure. Where it gets muddy is over cabinetry that is already curved. Two arcs fight each other — if your vanity has rounded fronts, DESPINA is the safer choice.

The LEDs are built into the mirror edge, giving the arched shape a clean line of light without a bulky frame. It is softer than a direct frontlit panel and works well in bathrooms that already have overhead or sconce lighting. If this is the only light in the room, add a ceiling fixture or sconces for task lighting. Edge-lit mirrors create a refined glow, but they are not meant to replace full-room illumination.
