Most LED mirrors start at 24 inches. That leaves out a large share of American condos, guest baths and powder rooms, where the vanity is 24 to 28 inches and a 24-inch mirror is too wide to look right. LARISSA leaves 3 or 4 inches of wall on each side of a 26-inch vanity.

The light is built into the mirror edge for a slim, frameless look and a softer outline than a hard-edged rectangle. It gives small bathrooms a clean vertical focal point without adding visual bulk. If this is the only light in the bathroom, add an overhead fixture for task lighting.

R9 measures deep red rendering — the wavelength your complexion, your lips and your blush actually live in. A light can score 90 on CRI and still render R9 near zero, which is why some bathroom mirrors make everyone look washed out. These run R9 above 50.
